Summer leadership project 2024 | Daytona BEACH, FL | MAY 31 - July 20 | $1950
The Summer Leadership Project is a seven-week training project to help college students grow in their personal relationships with God and learn how to share their faith with others. Students work full-time jobs in Daytona Beach, FL, during the day, and evenings and weekends are devoted to growth opportunities like training in bible study, prayer, and evangelism; discipleship groups; and worship. SLP is a summer of learning, growing, connecting with others, and having fun! God has used SLP to transform the lives of college students for over 40 years, and this summer will be no different.
This year, students who cannot commit to the full seven-week SLP can attend an abridged leadership project for two weeks, May 31 - June 15 (2LP). The cost is $800. 2LP participants will volunteer in Daytona Beach, receive the first two weeks of SLP training, and live with SLP students in the same lodging.

What is Summer Leadership Project?
A SUMMER TO GROW
You will receive personal attention to help you deepen your relationship with Jesus Christ through small groups and project-wide meetings. These opportunities are designed to help you learn how to study the Bible, memorize Scripture, pray, form healthy relationships, and build Christlike character.
A SUMMER TO SHARE YOUR FAITH
You will have the opportunity to learn how to share your faith through weekly evangelism training. You will also have opportunities to share what you are learning each week with people in your workplace and the Daytona Beach community.
A SUMMER TO BUILD RELATIONSHIPS
You will be able to live, work, grow and have fun with other college students who have a desire to grow in faith as well. SLP wouldn’t be SLP without social activities each week!
A SUMMER TO WORK
On weekdays students at SLP work jobs or internships in Daytona Beach. Working allows you to build relationships, gain valuable experience, and earn funds to attend the Summer Leadership Project or to spend while there. Check out this video to see how Project has impacted alumni here.
A SUMMER TO DEVELOP
SLP is not only an effective way to grow spiritually, but also to develop as a well-rounded adult, teammate, and future professional. The SLP environment and schedule build vital life and work skills like time management, communication, event planning, teamwork, conflict resolution, accountability, and more.
A SUMMER TO INVEST
If you accept the challenge to attend the Summer Leadership Project, you will be making an investment in who you will be in 5, 10, and 50 years. The returns you will see will greatly benefit you, others around you, and the entire world!

Complete the application linked above by April 5, 2024.
Check your email inbox (at the address you provide on your application) for a response once we review your application.
If accepted, complete the confirmation form and pay a $100 deposit which contributes toward the total cost by April 23, 2024 to commit to attend.
Utilize your Managed Missions account to track payments and donations toward your total cost ($1950 for SLP and $800 for 2LP).
Follow any instructions and complete any waivers sent via email before arriving in Daytona Beach.
