Favorite Verse: 2 Chronicles 16:9

Testimony:  Being born in a household with differing religious beliefs (Jewish and Christian) opened my eyes to different perspectives, while making it a challenge to commit to one view over another.  I believed in a God and was a fairly moral person, but did not ever really know how to access this God.  My religion was my morality and I believed that if I achieve a certain moral status, I can earn acceptance with God.  But I knew that I had not arrived at this moral status yet, and even worse that I was a sinner prone to turn from God.  God was a distant idea and I felt disconnected.  Then I learned that God sent Christ to earth to connect me to God by being my perfect substitute.  Through His perfect life I am made righteous, through His perfect death my sin is paid for and forgiven, and through His glorious resurrection I am victorious.   Therefore in eighth grade I turned and trusted in Jesus as my Savior and my Substitute.  Now I strive to grow more in my relationship with God by daily repenting of my failures, trusting in the work of Christ and following after God as His Spirit changes me along the way.

Favorite Books: Knowing God, Knowledge of the Holy, Far as the Curse is Found

Favorite Verse: Gal. 2:20

Testimony: (Shortish, please!) Became a Christian at a young age, but became missional in college. Growing up my faith was very personal. I was a good kid that read his Bible, prayed, went to Church, and followed the rules but never shared it much with others. Around my senior year of high school and the start of college, I really began to share this beautiful gift of the gospel with others and invest in men so that they might do the same.

Personal Mission Statement: To know God and make Him known

Favorite Verse: 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
Testimony: I became a follower of Jesus in my mid-teenage years, and was a hungry but immature Christian going off to college at GCSU. I began my search for a ministry to partner with in college, and was quickly invited to a Campus Outreach weekly meeting by an RA in my dorm. I enjoyed the meetings and was later introduced to a guy on staff with Campus Outreach. He and I began meeting to study the Bible and discuss life. God used him and the ministry of Campus Outreach to grow a greater love for Him and His mission to reach the world with the message about Jesus Christ. I want to spend the rest of my life growing in my knowledge of God and making Him known among the nations. My role on staff with Campus Outreach is one of the best ways I can do both of these.
